Does anyone know if you can take a handbag as well as a cabin bag on Easyjet please?
It doesn't appear on their website.

If you're not too fashion-conscious treat yourself to One Of These... Wink or the other variants, such as AyeGo, They're VERY handy and save a fortune.... Cool

But if you do follow that route then don't go too over the top on getting dressed up.... Laughing

Overdressed

It seems the passenger also got mouthy, which probably didn't help... Well, sorry - yes it did, actually - It helped to get him pepper-sprayed....

Moonlight, thanks for that. I haven't flown for over 5 years, seems nothing has changed.
Seedy, I saw that demonstrated some time ago. A little thing like me wouldn't be able to walk if I filled that up. Wink Laughing
However, you did give me a bit of an idea. I have a couple of jackets that have quite deep pockets plus an inside pocket, so I shall wear one of those.

Thanks Chris. I find it ridiculous you can carry an overcoat or a shopping bag with duty free bought at the airport, both of which would be bigger than my handbag.

You can try my other "cunning wheeze", ZZ: since I just love discounts/BOGOFs etc, I always read the T&Cs carefully. Most of them allow you to CARRY a coat but have no restriction on this, even if you're also wearing another one. So I usually travel with either a bulging Rufus Roo or the AyeGo equivalent, a cabin bag (the bag from an old Epson digital projector is exactly the maximum size of the free allowance on Wizzair - the only one I've ever been able to find and a big surprise for the ground handlers when they challenge you because they didn't think such a thing existed Wink ), a coat with bulging pockets PLUS another coat which has cable ties on the wrists (to allow the sleeves to be stuffed full) and more bulging pockets, and a "bum-bag" (worn, not carried Wink ).

Even when I used to bring checked luggage to Sofia my wife knew that she should always take the big bag, because my hand luggage and coats weighed a LOT more than the 32kg suitcase....

The security folk at Luton got to know me well and were always curious to see what I had managed to cram into my coats and bag THIS time! Very Happy

How much do you think I want to take? Wink
I originally thought I would only go for a week and want to travel as light as possible but in view of what I would be doing there, I felt a week would be too rushed. So I've decided to go for 2 weeks but that means I'll have to take more clothes unfortunately.

I booked the flight this morning and found you are able to take an additional small bag to put under the seat in front (which they say includes a handbag) if you pay £20 for up front seats or £24 for extra leg room. Rolling Eyes
