I was asked about BITCOIN recently and I understand it is around a 2000 Euro investment to get started, but I might well be wrong on that score. Anyway, even if I had 2000 Euro to speculate with, I really wouldn't want anything to do with it as I don't understand it and probably never will. My idea of mining is with a pick, shovel and a canary.

No doubt that some folk are making a MINT, but I stick by the leveller, 'If It Is Too Good To Be True......'

And, as usual, a few will make a HUGE amount of REAL money out of the whole crazy scheme of investing in an imaginary currency....A Mad World, My Masters Sad

I had a bit... of a look at this bitcoin thing a few weeks ago when it was values at about 5K. I applied for a wallet but the documentation requirement would not accept BG ID's and yet wanted documentation of country of residence ?? One of the 'wallets' that seemed to be available would accept the purchase of bitcoins but would not accept sales which seemed very dodgy and pointless. I have a feeling when the sell off comes it will not only be a question of when to sell but could be a question of if you can sell at all.
